Term of use

About Triptionary

Triptionary provides editorial travel content. We are not a travel agency or a party to any bookings you make with third parties.

Use of our site

You may use our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy, scrape, or redistribute substantial parts without permission.

Information only

We strive for accuracy, but travel information (prices, timetables, availability, entry rules, safety conditions) changes frequently. You should verify details with official providers before relying on them. We are not responsible for third-party changes, service quality, or availability.

Affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links. If you make a purchase or booking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect our editorial independence.

External links and services

We are not responsible for external websites or their policies. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on the Website — including text, design and other original materials — is © Triptionary. Third-party images and media remain the property of their respective owners and are used under licence. Re-use by visitors is not permitted unless the original licence explicitly allows it.

Image sources & licensing

  • Creative Commons (Wikimedia Commons / Flickr; sometimes found via Openverse). Some images are sourced from Wikimedia Commons and/or Flickr and used under Creative Commons licences (e.g., CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC0/Public Domain). Openverse is a search/aggregation tool only; the binding licence is the one on the original source page. Where required, we provide reasonable attribution (author, title if available, licence type/version, link to source/licence) and indicate edits (e.g., crop/colour correction). Any reuse must comply with the original licence.
  • Pexels. Some photos are used under the Pexels License. Attribution is not required by that licence, but we may still credit creators where appropriate. Any reuse must follow the Pexels License (e.g., no resale/redistribution “as is”, no misleading endorsement).
  • Licensed stock imagery (paid libraries). Some images are licensed from paid stock providers. All rights remain with the respective rights holders. Reuse by third parties is not permitted unless you obtain your own licence from the relevant provider.

If you believe an attribution is missing or inaccurate, please contact info@triptionary.net and we will review and, if needed, correct it promptly.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing excludes liability where it cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law / jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Courts in Warsaw, Poland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Consumer mandatory protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
