If you’re planning an unforgettable holiday in Tenerife, one attraction should be right at the top of your list — Siam Park. Frequently voted one of the best water parks in the world, it combines Thai-inspired design, thrilling rides, and relaxing spaces that appeal to every type of traveller. Let’s dive into the world of Siam Park Tenerife and discover what makes it a must-visit destination.
What is Siam Park?
Siam Park is not just a water park — it’s an entire aquatic kingdom inspired by the ancient Kingdom of Siam, the forerunner of modern Thailand. Opened in 2008, it covers a vast area of 185,000 square metres in southern Tenerife, immersing visitors in an exotic world of lush tropical gardens and spectacular Thai architecture. From high-speed slides to lazy rivers and sandy beaches, there is something here for everyone — the go-to water park Tenerife visitors rave about.
The park has been crowned Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice ‘Best of the Best’ Water Parks multiple times, holding the world title seven years in a row from 2014 to 2020, and again in 2023 and 2024. This recognition is based on hundreds of thousands of glowing reviews from visitors across the globe, who consistently praise its unique design, adrenaline-pumping attractions, and outstanding level of service. Thanks to continuous innovation and attention to detail, Siam Park has become one of the top things to do in Tenerife — drawing millions of visitors and maintaining its reputation as one of the global leaders in water parks.
Best Siam Park Rides (Thrill, Family and Kids)

One of the reasons Siam Park is so popular is its variety. Rides and attractions are divided into different categories to suit every visitor — from thrill-seekers to families and those simply looking to unwind.
For Adrenaline Lovers:
If you’re chasing thrills, Siam Park won’t disappoint. Brave the near-vertical drop of the Tower of Power, shooting through a shark-filled aquarium at incredible speed. Experience weightlessness on the Dragon, or race down high-speed slides like Singha, Mekong Rapids, and Kinnaree. For something truly unique, The Vulcano offers a plunge into complete darkness before ending in a glowing volcanic crater.
For Families and Kids:
Siam Park is perfect for families. The Wave Palace creates one of the world’s largest artificial waves (up to 3 metres), where you can try surfing or simply enjoy splashing in the surf. Children love The Lost City, a multi-level adventure playground filled with bridges, waterfalls, and slides designed especially for younger visitors. Family favourites also include Naga Racer, Jungle Snake, and The Giant, all offering fun and excitement suitable for every age.
For Relaxation and Chill-Out:
Need a break from the action? Head to Siam Beach, with its soft golden sand and calm waters — a wonderfully relaxing spot within the park. Drift along the Mai Thai River, a winding lazy river that carries you past waterfalls, lush gardens, and even an underwater section where tropical fish swim around you. Explore the Floating Market, designed like a traditional Thai village, where you can browse for souvenirs and grab light snacks. For a touch of luxury, VIP cabanas and exclusive chill-out zones are also available, making Siam Park as relaxing as it is exhilarating.
How to Get to Siam Park
Siam Park is located in the south of Tenerife, in the municipality of Adeje (Avenida Siam, s/n, 38660 Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands). Thanks to its central location in Costa Adeje, getting there is simple, whether you’re driving, using public transport, or hopping on the free Siam Park shuttle bus.
By Car
Driving to Siam Park is very straightforward. From anywhere on the island, take the southern TF-1 motorway and exit at junctions 73 or 74, following the signs for Siam Park. There is an on-site car park right next to the entrance, costing €7 per day. Alternatively, there’s a free public car park about 500–600 metres away, opposite the Magma Arte & Congresos conference centre. However, spaces here are limited and tend to fill up quickly, especially in peak season. Need a hire car? See our Tenerife car hire guide for providers, insurance, prices, and practical tips.
By Public Bus (TITSA)
If you prefer public transport, buses from Santa Cruz de Tenerife (such as line 110) will take you to Costa Adeje bus station. From there, it’s about a 10–15-minute walk to the park. How to use Tenerife’s buses and tram — where to check schedules, what it costs, and how to pay — explained in our public transport guide.
By the Free Siam Park Shuttle Bus
The most convenient option for many visitors is the complimentary shuttle service, which runs regularly between the park and the island’s main southern resorts. Look out for the brightly coloured double-decker buses with the Siam Park logo — they’re hard to miss.
The shuttle covers three main tourist areas:
- Los Cristianos:
- C.C. Pasarela (shopping centre)
- Hotel Sol Arona Tenerife
- Playa de las Américas:
- C.C. Presidente (shopping centre)
- Hotel Best Tenerife
- Llanos de Troya
- Costa Adeje:
- C.C. El Duque
- C.C. Fañabé Plaza (shopping centre)
- Ocean Park
- Villa Adeje Beach
Timetable:
Shuttles usually run from 09:30 to 13:00, then again from 15:00 to 18:00, with services every 30–40 minutes (times may vary slightly depending on the season). The last bus back from Siam Park departs between 18:00 and 18:30, so keep an eye on the time to avoid being stranded.
👉 A quick tip: sometimes drivers ask to see your Siam Park ticket when boarding the shuttle. Have your ticket ready (either printed or on your phone), especially if you’ve booked online in advance.
By Taxi
Taxis are widely available across Tenerife and can be a convenient option, especially if you’re travelling in a group or staying outside the shuttle zones.

Where to Buy Tickets
- Online via authorised ticketing partner Tiqets: A fast, user-friendly option with instant mobile tickets, secure checkout, and, on many listings, flexible cancellation and date-change options. Tiqets also occasionally runs promotions and lets you bundle Siam Park with other Tenerife attractions in one purchase — ideal if you’re planning multiple days out. Check each ticket’s terms, as flexibility and discounts vary.
- Online via the official website (siampark.net): Buy directly from the park at standard prices with e-tickets for quick entry.
- On the day at the ticket office: Possible, but not advised in busy periods due to queues, limited same-day availability, and no flexibility if your plans change. You also risk popular time slots selling out before you arrive.
Tickets can sell out for the coming days and peak dates, so booking ahead is recommended.
Top Tips for Visitors
- Arrive early: To avoid crowds and ride the most popular attractions without long queues, aim to be there for opening time.
- Plan for waiting times: Queues can be long during peak season. A Fast Pass can significantly improve your day.
- Bring a waterproof camera or case: Capture your fun moments on the slides and in the wave pool without worrying about water damage.
- Towels: Available for hire inside the park, but bringing your own will save money.
Siam Park Tenerife is a truly unique destination — more than just a water park, it’s a world-class attraction that delivers unforgettable memories. Plan ahead, book your tickets in advance, and get ready for a day of adventure, relaxation, and fun in one of Europe’s best water parks.
